This track is called Art Of Beat Making by Erupt. I heard this song on the New Hot 89.9's Battle of the Beats with Ryan Lindsey and absolutely fell in love with it. He is from Ottawa and maybe that's a little bit of the reason why I love it so much but I always fall in love with a song that an artist has put their heart and soul into and turned it into perfection. Erupt's musical ability can't even be described, he will be very successful and if he isn't I don't know what's wrong with the music industry.
Here is the link, pleaseee go check it out!

Fall *
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything on my blog in a long time, just haven't been taking the time to do so. I will for sure promise to try harder to keep everything updated, I'm still really new at this and it's going to take a little bit of some getting use to for sure.
My friend Sara Cornthwaite is an amazing and talented young woman, she took the pictures of myself that I'm posting. We went to Andrew Hayden Park near my house, it has such beautiful scenery this time of the year, a very peaceful place to get away for anyone who just wants to get their thoughts together.
I'm at the point in my life where I finally know what path I'm on and what path I need to take in order to make my dreams come true. It's a struggle being at a young age, I mean I am only 20 years old, to find what it is I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm the type of person who gets bored easily and always needs to keep busy no matter what. So wanting to get into Fashion PR is a perfect choice for me.
Why Fashion PR? Because I want to give up and coming designers and new talent a chance to get their name out there for the world to see their talents. Too many people don't get the proper exposure they need and the right connections they strive for in order to showcase their talents. That's where I come in. I live in Ottawa, and when someone thinks of fashion and of Canada the first two cities they think about are Toronto and Montreal. Ottawa has never been recognized as a "fashion capital" but I know so many talented students who are just struggling to get their first big break. I know that's the case for a lot of people out there. I'm always on the internet researching different job opportunities, internships and reading up on how to make it in the industry and one thing I've noticed is that many of those opportunities involve having to move away to one of the fashion capitals in order to even make something of yourself. And although I don't disagree with the fact that you need to go where the opportunities are but at the same time coming from a middle-class family, I can attest that packing up and moving to an expensive city such as NYC or Toronto isn't always as easy as it seems. I want to give opportunities to people that are from small towns or "unknown" towns to have a fair chance in the fashion industry. Be a positive representative and represent my hometown as being good enough too. Expand the Ottawa fashion scene, if I was able to bring to this town even a quarter of what NYC or Toronto has to offer it would be such a great hit! I could ramble on and on about this for hours but I'm sure you all get the point. I've never been so passionate about something in my life and just the fact that I have this goal allows me to go to sleep with a smile on my face every night. For me, that's good enough for now.
